Admitted in February 1990, Karen joined Richard Wilson Long (then Richard Wilson & Co) in 1994 becoming a Partner in 1997. She was born and bred in Windsor, Berkshire and has worked in the Thames Valley all her professional life. Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor, Karen worked as a probate and trust administrator for Barclays Bank PLC.

Karen specialises in residential conveyancing, attorneys, wills and probate and is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners.

Jon qualified in 1994 and successfully established J M Charles & Co Solicitors in 1997 in Ickenham, Middlesex. The company prospered, primarily specialising in Matrimonial matters and issues relating to children, Conveyancing, Wills & Probate, with some Civil and Criminal Litigation. Highly respected and recognised as a solicitor who genuinely cares about his clients, Jon has experience in Matrimonial and Private Child Law to Court of Appeal level, where he has a 100% success rate.

Patrick Stewart

Patrick has over 30 years’ experience, specialising in Commercial and Residential Property, and business sales and purchases. After training and working in London and the south-east Patrick relocated and has lived locally for over twenty years. He has an established reputation with residents, estate agents, and clients.

Patrick handles a wide range of property transactions including freehold and leasehold transactions, lease extensions, restrictive covenants, rights of way, defects in title, statutory declarations, easements, possessory titles, plot sales, and acquisitions, as well as new builds.

He also acts for clients in the First Registration of unregistered land, including adverse possession.

He provides a personal, pragmatic approach based on his extensive knowledge and experience with   commercial and residential properties. His communication skills and attention to detail enhance his professional, and friendly, expertise which all his clients appreciate.

Patrick acts for a number of local property developers in both acquisition of land and sale of new homes.

Experience in sale of Residential Properties ranging from first time buyers to multimillion pound homes.

Patrick’s highlights include successfully represented a property investment company at the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal, representing clients at High Court Hearings in judges’ chambers, acting in the acquisition and sale of large national care homes and acting for a leisure company in the purchase of nationwide centres.

Patrick qualified in 2000 and previously worked as partner and Head of the Property Department (Commercial and Residential) in law firms in London, Kent and Newbury.

Specialises in the Sale of Dental Practices

Richard read Literae Humaniores (Ancient languages and history and ancient and modern philosophy) at Oriel College Oxford 1976-80. He worked in industry and Venture Capital between 1980 and 1987 before qualifying as a solicitor between 1987-91. Richard specialised in Company law at Brachers in Kent, and then took an in-house appointment in the NHS between 1993-97. He established Longs Solicitors with Tina Long in 1997 in Kent, working for clients in Company, Commercial and Employment Law. Longs Solicitors merged with Richard Wilson in 2011 to form Richard Wilson Long.

Richard specialises in the sale of dental practices, and is on the British Dental Association panel of approved solicitors.

Ros joined Richard Wilson Long in 1986. She was admitted as a Fellow of the (now Chartered) Institute of Legal Executives. Ros specialises almost entirely in Residential Conveyancing and strives to do her best for each and every client she works with. She is proud to say that she has acted for a number of clients on numerous occasions during this time.

Kerry has worked with Jon Charles (J M Charles & Co Solicitors) since 2004, originally as Secretary and then as a Trainee and Assistant, gaining experience in Civil and Criminal Litigation, Wills & Probate, Conveyancing, Matrimonial and Conveyancing Law, whilst studying at Nottingham Law School. Kerry joined Richard Wilson Long when the companies amalgamated in July 2012.

Clemency graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in International Relations and Politics. She completed her Diploma in Law from Oxford Brookes University and more recently the Legal Practice Course from the University of Law, Oxford. Clemency gained her legal work experience at Richard Wilson Long, and on completion of her legal studies, accepted the opportunity to become a trainee solicitor at the firm, and has since qualified as a solicitor.
